The band has "Old School Malay Sound" of its own. Production that is not disappointing, both in terms of quality songs, recordings or backing. As Meet Uncle Hussain, BITTERSWEET and RAIN , the band has the potential to go far.
Keep it up!

A strange (or may be visionary?) blend of indie rock moves and Malay rock-styled songwriting, this five song EP by Malaysian Band Julie Goes Overseas is definitely not short on potential. Marying Malay rock melodies with an indie rock instrumental attack, all of them capped off by confident vocal performance by lead singer Jazlan. Given more time to sharpen on their writing skills, we might have something special here.
